From in front of the TIC you head across the bridge over the Savinja towards Marija Gradec, where after the little bridge over the Lahomnica stream you turn left. To the right on a rise stands the Marija Gradec church. The road climbs gently through the village of Lahomno. At the end of the village you turn right across a little bridge and then straight on – signpost Šentrupert. The road leads through the hamlet of Tevče and then rises to Mala Breza. At the Marksmen's Lodge at Mala Breza at the junction you turn right, where a wooden signpost Trobni Dol 3.5 km directs you. From Mala Breza it is 3 km of climbing to Trobni Dol (615 m a.s.l.); there you can see the chapel of St Barbara. From Trobni Dol – at the junction straight on – you descend towards Blatni Vrh. After barely 2 km there is a junction, where you follow the signpost for Marof. From this junction there is another 2.7 km of road, which winds along the ridge. At the next junction by the white chapel you turn left into the valley and there follows a descent towards Marof. At Marof (fishponds) you turn towards Jurklošter. From Marof to Jurklošter there is 1.7 km of compacted gravel. At Jurklošter a visit to the charterhouse is possible and then there follows a gentle descent along the road beside the Gračnica stream to Rimske Toplice. In Rimske Toplice you continue the route past the Hochkraut inn along the asphalt road to Strensko (see the cycling direction boards). You continue the route along the asphalt road, which beside the railway line brings you to Marija Gradec and from there it is only a few minutes to Laško.
