The Logar Valley is a glacial valley in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, protected as a landscape park since 1987 and covering 24 square kilometres. A road runs through the valley between isolated farms, and waterfalls, springs and viewpoints follow one after another along the way. The most visited is the Rinka waterfall, whose lower fall drops 90 metres; above it the path continues towards Okrešelj. The valley is a starting point for hiking, cycling and tours into the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, and in winter for winter walks. Look for accommodation and local cuisine in Solčava and Mozirju.
