In Atomska vas by the Olimje swimming pools we turn right onto the main road. Caution is needed. We ride past the petrol station and the Pirc guesthouse to the settlement of Imeno, which stretches along the left and right sides of the road for a full two kilometres.
In the middle of the settlement – at the signpost for Imenska Gorca (by the church of the Virgin Mary) we turn right. We ride on an asphalt surface. The route leads us more and more upwards; we ride through the picturesque hills of Imenska Gorca, which are covered with countless vineyards and wine cottages.
We continue the route upwards and quite soon cycle to the top, where there is a hunting lodge. We are rewarded with a wonderful view of Podčetrtek, the surrounding settlements and a large part of the Kozjansko region. We descend along the other side of the hill and return to the village.
