From in front of the TIC you set off along the road towards Celje to the Petrol petrol station, where you turn right across the bridge in the direction of Jagoče. There follows a gentle climb almost to the end of the hamlet, where behind the house Jagoče 14 at a fork you turn left and along an asphalt road descend to the bank of the Savinja. You continue along the asphalt road and, when you cross the Brstnik ditch, you turn left up the slope. There follows 1.7 km of climb to the pass, where you turn right downwards. There follows a descent into the valley past the treatment plant, and along a macadam road beside the railway line you continue towards Celje. When you come to the underpass with the railway line, which is formed by three tunnels, you turn right through the third underpass (from the direction of approach). On the wall is the marking Celjska koča. There follows a good 7 km of climb to Celjska koča. At forks or crossroads there is a signpost – Celjska koča. The hotel Celjska koča stands at an altitude of 652 m and is open all year round. A climb on foot to Tovsti vrh (834 m a.s.l.) is possible, for which you need 20 minutes of walking uphill. From Celjska koča you continue along macadam towards Svetina and after one kilometre of climb (at the top of the climb is a smaller quarry) you descend towards Svetina. At the bus stop you turn right along the asphalt road in the direction of Jagoče. There follows 700 m of descent to a fork, where you turn sharply left onto a macadam track. (If you wish, you can descend along the asphalt road straight through the village of Doblatina to Jagoče, where you already see the Laško health resort.) The route descends another 3 km past Požnica to Reka. At the end of the descent the asphalt road begins, where at the bus stop you turn right across a small bridge and continue along the road to Reka and on towards Lahomno. In Lahomno, on the road Šentrupert – Laško, you turn right in the direction of Laško and continue riding past Marija Gradec to the starting point.
From Celjska koča you can also set off to Svetina, where the fortified church of Our Lady of the Snows stands. Its existence is mentioned as early as 1489.
