From in front of the TIC you set off across the bridge over the Savinja towards Marija Gradec, where after the little bridge over the Lahomnica stream you turn right into a gentle slope. On the rise stands the Marija Gradec church. You continue the route onwards along the road that runs between the railway and the river Savinja past the Laško Treatment Plant. You continue along gravel in the direction of Strensko and onwards along asphalt to Rimske Toplice. At the railway station you turn right across the bridge, where Rimske Toplice lie. You can decide on a visit to the Aqua Roma pool complex or you can visit the homestead of Anton Aškerc, view the Rimske Toplice Health Resort and the giant sequoias in the spa park. You return by the same route, because the main road to Laško has very heavy traffic.
