The path runs over undemanding terrain and is 25 km long in its entirety. You can adapt the direction and the length of the path you walk to your own time and purpose. In the summer months public bus transport is available between Bovec and Kranjska Gora (you will find the timetable among the contents How to reach us and get around).
 

Alpe Adria Trail is an attractive hiking trail of three lands, Austria, Slovenia and Italy, which begins on the Pasterze glacier below the Grossglockner and ends on the Adriatic coast. It runs past the Carinthian lakes, through the Soča Valley into the wine-growing Brda and on across the Karst to the sea, which it reaches at Muggia near Trieste. The route, approx. 640 km long, is divided into 37 walking stages. The Soča Trail is for many the finest section of the whole Alpe Adria trail.

We wish our visitors that the experience will be Triglav National Park and of its themed trails as rich as possible. At the same time let us not forget that we are only guests of the valley, which should remain unchanged after our visit too.
