We begin the route in front of Bistrica Castle or on Trg svobode, where along Kolodvorska cesta we turn across the motorway flyover. We continue along the level to the famous Napast inn and farm, where we can rest for the first time or even mount horses. We continue the route to Lapore, where after a few hairpins the road rises above the valley, fromwhere a wonderful view of the Drava field is offered. Along the slope past the chapel of St Urban we descend to the main road. Beyond the first bend we already catch sight of the famous Studenice monastery. We continue the route towards Makole. The winding road beside the bed of the Dravinja brings us through the village of Globoko, where on the left on a hill the Štatenberg manor rises. If we decide to visit the manor, after the tour we descend back onto the main road or along the ridge we continue along the wine road to Kočno, where we can also come by the "valley" variant through Pečke and Ložnica pri Makolah. To Slovenska Bistrica there are only another 9 kilometres of route on the level.
