We do not live in order to eat. But we certainly live because we eat. To sit down at the table and, in pleasant company, take food and drink in moderation is a cultural experience.

Our cuisine is based on genuine home cooking with a touch of the present, and it is seasonally coloured.

We are aware that a good dish needs quality raw ingredients, so we have set up a garden where a lot of vegetables and herbs grow, which mum Metka gladly brings us into the kitchen. And when there are not enough vegetables in our garden, we work with local growers and the surrounding farms.

Every day we have four menus ready, and on Saturdays we also serve you tasty Saturday lunches.
Our homely feel is certainly helped by the newly built bread oven, from which the smell of bread rises every day.

The wines come mainly from local winemakers, but we also have a varied selection of wines from all over Slovenia. Among the various dishes you will discover that the emphasis is on duck, which is also our inn's hallmark.

We accommodate eighty guests in four different rooms, and in summer we serve you on the shaded summer terrace. We also provide catering for up to a hundred guests.

We get advice and support from dad Franc and mum Metka. Besides my husband Peter, four other members of the team help me create the story of the Racman inn, and they are occasionally joined by my sister Urška and our two children, Nina and Matic.

We still have many plans, all with one aim: that you, dear guests, are satisfied with us.
