Lokev is one of the largest Slovenian villages and has all the karst characteristics. It is known for its ponds, cisterns and neatly laid out footpaths. In the centre of the village there is a tourist office TIC Lokee, which offers visitors information about the Karst and about its tourist offer. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Tabor military museum, where you can view an extremely attractive collection. Beside the museum there is also Fabiani's museum shop, which is exactly as it was 100 years ago, since in it there is a collection of all sorts of objects from different periods. We can also view the radio amateur collection in the Cultural Centre in Lokev and take a walk to the nearby hill of Kokoš.
