The Trenta Museum and the Information Centre of the Triglav National Park present the cultural landscape, the nature and the past life in Trenta.
Dom Trenta is the centre of the cultural and social life of the Trenta valley, the venue for numerous events (concerts, theatre and puppet performances, exhibitions, seminars, business meetings …). The building is adapted for visitors with disabilities and has accommodation capacity.
Dom Trenta na Logu in Trenta is intended for all who wish to acquaint themselves with the natural features of the Triglav National Park, its living nature, cultural landscape, geology, geomorphology and hydrology. The Trenta Museum presents the life of former Trenta, rich collections of ethnological heritage, and the cultural and historical tradition of the Trenta valley.
Interesting to see is the reconstruction of a Trenta house with a black kitchen, which illustrates the former living culture. From mountaineering history, objects are on display that were used by the pioneers of alpinism on their ascents into the mountains.
Photographs of famous Trenta mountain guides and rich literature from this field attract nostalgia for times not so long past, while attention is also drawn by the Trenta bell and the eternal story of the mysterious Zlatorog.
