The ski resortŠpanov vrh is 4 km from the centre of the town of Jesenice. The boarding station of the single chairlift is at Planina pod Golico at an altitude of 981m. The middle station Črni vrh is at an altitude of 1184m. The upper station Španov vrh is at an altitude of 1361m. The length of the chairlift is 1630 m. The ski piste is routed along the slope of the Španov vrh hill, oriented to the western side, and in fine weather affords a wonderful view of the Julian alps, the slope of the Karavanke and the upper Sava valley. The ski resort is suitable for recreational and demanding skiers; ski clubs also visit it and it is suitable for holding trade-union competitions. Parking spaces are in the immediate vicinity of the lower station. At the ski resort a catering establishment is open at the lower, middle and upper stations of the chairlift. In the village of Planina pod Golico it is also possible to spend the night.
Ski runs: From the upper to the middle station the slope is suitable for more demanding skiers, and from the middle to the lower station the slope is also suitable for beginners.
