We start the route in Jesenice and ride along Titova cesta, past the railway station to the grammar school. At the traffic-light junction we continue the route straight on along Cesta Železarjev, past the Tuš centre, the petrol station, the beer hall and on along the main road Jesenice-Lesce. At the traffic lights at Javornik we turn right towards Dobrava. We ride along the main road across the Sava bridge, and after the bridge we turn left onto a shorter slope to the village of Lipce. We come to the Citroën car dealership. After the railway overpass we turn right, where a smaller slope already awaits us as a warm-up, and immediately after it a slightly steeper and longer slope into the village of Kočna. When we reach the top we see a longer level descent to the bridge over the Radovna River, on to the village of Spodnje Gorje, past the shop Mercator, to the next junction on the main road Bled-Zgornje Gorje, where we turn left towards Bled. We ride past the Lip-Bled factory at Rečica, on along the main road past the stadium, the Astoria hotel, the bus station and the Festival Hall to the Park hotel, where after a strenuous route we can treat ourselves to a delicious Bled cream slice.
