Hotel Krvavec is the highest-lying hotel in Slovenia at a full 1600 metres above sea level and offers all the comfort needed for a relaxing break. The hotel is located on the ski slopes. The hotel has 26 accommodation units with a total of 94 beds. Rooms in the hotel are furnished in an alpine style. The hotel also has a self-service restaurant with a rich breakfast and dinner made from locally produced delicacies. During the day you can refresh yourself at the popular Plaža bar with its outdoor terrace. Relaxation is also taken care of in the mountain wellness centre, where a small Finnish sauna is available. Guests also have free wireless internet.
In the winter season the hotel is an ideal base for skiing and other winter pleasures; it lies in the heart of the Krvavec ski resort, right beside the ski runs. The ski centre with the finest view has excellently maintained pistes at altitudes from 1450 m to 1971 m, which guarantees excellent conditions for skiing on natural, compact snow. The ski resort also offers all the additional winter equipment.
In the warmer months the high-mountain ski centre with its varied terrain turns into a hospitable oasis for hikers and cyclists, so the hotel is an ideal base for hiking, mountain tours and cycling trips (cross country, DH, all mountain) and generally for a relaxing break in nature. Additional summer offer: summer park, history trail, mass in Plečnik's Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows, medicinal herbs on the mountain pasture, home-made culinary delicacies.

The cable-car cabin becomes a small restaurant. Dinner is served in stages between rides. A 3-course dinner can be enjoyed by a maximum of 4 people in one cabin.

In winter the wedding takes on a special charm, as all the guests can travel up to the wedding venue by gondola, while the bride and groom have several entertaining ways to arrive: by chairlift, snow sledge, dog sled or simply on skis.

ACCESS TO HOTEL KRVAVEC ON KRVAVEC
The hotel lies 1600 m above sea level and the journey to it is an experience in itself. You can choose between two options:
Coming from the direction of Ljubljana on the motorway, take the Vodice exit, where at the junction next to the Agip petrol station there is a Krvavec sign (turn left). Follow the signs for Cerklje na Gorenjskem. From Cerklje follow the signs for Krvavec; you will reach the village of Grad, where you should follow the sign for Hotel Krvavec and for the village of »Ambrož pod Krvavcem«. Do not head towards the Krvavec cable car! Continue uphill until a barrier at the Jezerca mountain pasture stops you from going further.
Up to this point the road is asphalted; from here on a gravel road of about 4 km awaits you, normally passable with a few steep sections. Follow the wooden signs for Hotel Krvavec and Plaža Krvavec. At the end of the level stretch, next to Koča Rozka, turn left and downhill, past the garages, and then right and uphill along the road. At the top of the hill you will see the hotel on the left. Park next to the hotel.
From the village of Cerklje na Gorenjskem follow the KRVAVEC signs and the Krvavec cable-car symbol to the address Grad 76. Park next to the cable-car entrance and board the cable car, which consists of several cabins. In summer the cabins run every hour on the hour, between 8:00 and 18:00.
