Hotel Gold Club Ajdovščina
Hotel Gold Club is located in the centre of Ajdovščina and is the only hotel in the town. The hotel has 39 rooms with 79 beds available.
The rooms are comfortably furnished, as each has a bathroom with a shower cabin, a TV and a mini bar, and in the reception lobby hotel guests are also offered free use of the internet. The hotel is open 24 hours a day.
The hotel's occupancy is good, as most of the overnight stays are by guests of the gaming salon, and there are also some passing guests, larger groups of tourists and those staying in the town for business reasons.
Besides the accommodation services the hotel offers, the main activity and attraction is the Castra gaming salon, which opened its doors in March 2006.
In a pleasantly furnished and renovated setting, which is open day and night, visitors can try their luck at 170 gaming positions of the IGT, Admiral, Aristocrat and Williams type, and at two automatic roulettes with ten and one automatic roulette with eight gaming positions. Active players are also served with free drinks and various snacks.
For the hungrier there are a pizzeria – beer hall with 100 seats and the new à la carte restaurant Planika, which takes another 100 guests.
In the beer hall you have a varied selection of pizzas available, and on working days snacks or lunches as well. The restaurant is also suitable for larger groups such as business meetings, weddings, birthdays, confirmations, first communions, anniversaries...where they will prepare for you regional specialities, seafood specialities, vegetarian food, diet food and various particularities.
In addition, guests can also try the tasty beer, which they brew in their own brewery.
The pizzeria has the following opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11.00 - 23.00, Friday from 11.00 - 24.00, Sunday from 12.00 - 23.00, and Saturdays and public holidays from 12.00 - 24.00.
And between 1.6. and 30.9. you can have your morning coffee out in the summer garden from as early as 7.00.
