The wellness centre is open every day of the year between 10 and 21.
Swim in the wonderful pool with thermal water (30° C), with invigoration from the water current and the waterfall, which alternate at 15-minute intervals. For relaxation we have also provided two massage tubs (whirlpool) and rest in three indoor rooms with sun loungers.
For all of you who want exercise and training, in our Hotel Diana we offer a modern, air-conditioned fitness centre. In it you will have cardio machines, trainers and free weights at your disposal. We will gladly advise you on using them, so that with the machines you succeed in reshaping your body, improving your fitness or simply enjoying the training.
We have equipped the fitness centre with top-class Johnson cardio machines and isotonic machines from the manufacturer Creare. For all those who would like to reshape their body with the help of weights, you have a choice of 10 different isotonic machines and a space with free weights. For lovers of cardiovascular machines, you will be able to choose between a treadmill, a cross trainer and bicycles. As a novelty we have also added two multifunctional machines which make it possible to perform more than 20 different exercises for all kinds of muscles, and a machine with which you can choose between 120 different exercises.
After a demanding and stressful working day we invite you into the wonderful relaxing world of saunas. The indoor part comprises a Finnish, a Turkish and a herbal sauna with chromotherapy, in which you will relax to a wonderful colour palette of lights. The outdoor saunas are designed in the local Prekmurje style – covered with straw and finished like log cabins with birch wood. You can choose between a herbal and an infrared sauna. As a novelty, for the first time in Slovenia you will be able to try a Finnish sauna with a water wheel.
Turkish steam sauna
The temperature in the Turkish sauna reaches between 40-50 degrees, whereby a very high air humidity of between 90-100 % is present. The steam bath or sauna is a procedure in which water vapour acts on the whole body, since with a steam bath we want to achieve the elimination of toxic substances from the body; in addition, the sauna encourages generally better functioning of the skin, which affects the whole organism and helps with the relaxation of the muscles.
Finnish sauna
In the wellness centre of Hotel Diana we offer two Finnish saunas, an indoor and an outdoor one. These are dry saunas, where the temperature reaches between 80-90 degrees. The air in these saunas is very dry. The Finnish sauna has a good effect on the muscles, strengthens the cardiovascular system, works against stress and strengthens the immune system. The outdoor Finnish sauna is a real particularity, as it has a mill wheel which, with a water wheel that drives the water, humidifies the air.
Infrared sauna
With this type of sauna only 20% of the energy is used for heating the air; the rest penetrates into the body. It uses the same infrared radiation as that emitted by the sun and by the human being. It operates at a temperature of 50-55 degrees, which is why it is also substantially safer for people with cardiovascular problems. This kind of sauna speeds up the blood circulation in the skin, which makes the skin soft and youthful, and it also helps with cellulite. It eases pain in the joints, headaches and pain in the muscles.
Herbal sauna
A sauna with a combination of exceptionally pleasant warmth, moisture and the natural steam of herbs is ideal at the beginning and at the end of alternating warm-cold baths. It suits all those who do not tolerate high temperatures. The pleasant warmth relaxes overstrained muscles and calms an overburdened nervous system. The favourable climate with the natural aerosols of herbs gently but thoroughly cleanses the skin and the respiratory passages. The alternating heating and cooling of the body ensures optimal training of the vessel walls and better supply of oxygen and increases the body's resistance. We recommend calm but deep breathing. Place a towel under all parts of the body. Air temperature: 50-60 degrees. Air humidity: 40-60 %
We have at our disposal several rooms for business and social events, which can accommodate from 20 to 500 people. The rooms are suitable for holding lectures, seminars, training sessions, formal receptions, consultations and other meetings.
We can provide you with the following equipment: a lectern, a portable LCD projector, an overhead projector, lighting control and a sound system, a laptop, a mobile projection screen and a flip chart.
