From Žetale you cycle towards Rogatec, where before the church of St Sebastian, built in 1414,you turn left towards Log. This is also the most demanding part of this cycle route. Along a forest path you climb towards the Tisovec hunting lodge. On the way we can also stop at the 200-year-old beech, called the Fat Beech, which is the final goal of a forest study trail, indicated by an information board in front of the new primary school. There follow a few untiring and interesting kilometres along the forest road, since from the bicycle saddle you can drink in the peace, the fresh air and the beauties which nature in Log offers. At the lodge, refresh yourself at the cold spring and take some refreshment. Mushroom pickers can also set off for a mushroom catch, since a great many mushrooms grow here. Rested, we set off towards Varvasi and then end the route via Lešje, Čret and Trebež to Žetale. Those in better physical condition can continue the route from Varvasi towards Ravne, where through Globočec they climb to Kranjček (430m) and from there to Kočice. Then they descend towards the hamlet of Grabe and return along the road Dobrina-Žetale past the Vuk homestead back to the starting point.
The ideal route for relaxation and rest.
