Described is a circular route through the western part of the Posavje hills, which as a varied landscape offers numerous possibilities for recreation. From Dolsko, past the church of St Helena, we climb towards Klopce, Zagorica, Križevska vas and Velika vas. As far as Zagorica the route is asphalted, from Zagorica to Velika vas it is a mixed surface (asphalt and gravel), while the route from Velika vas to Senožeti (descent) is gravel. The greatest altitude difference has to be overcome as far as Klopce. As a curiosity let us mention that in Zagorica (at Vehovec) the famous mathematician Jurij Vega was born in 1754. Today there is a Vega memorial room in the house. We reach the highest point somewhere by the church of the Holy Cross in Križevska vas (560 m). Throughout the ride along the slope panoramic views over the Posavje hills accompany us. We can return along the same route, or complete the circle via Senožeti (the descent is fairly steep), where we cross the Sava, to Jevnica, where we head towards Laze and ride for a few kilometres between the Sava and the railway line. At Laze we cross the Sava again to Dolsko.
