The beginnings of the Protestant Church in Moravske Toplice reach back to the 16th century, when the reformers Primož Trubar, Jurij Dalmatin, Sebastian Krelj and others laid the foundation of the Slovenian language. The Church of the Lord's Ascension in Bogojina Plečnik preserved as an entrance porch and used it for the choir, while he supported the new nave on the famous marble pillar, from which four arches rise mightily.. Connoisseurs find that in Bogojina Plečnik created a total work of art, in which the master's recognisable accents merge with elements of local architecture and artistic craft. The little Rotunda church of St Nicholas in Selo, the oldest artistic gem, is marked by numerous elements of the Romanesque and place its origin in the 13th century.

Municipality Velika Polana is the European village of storks. In Velika Polana you can visit the homestead of the great and acclaimed writer Miško Kranjec. His homestead offers us his legacy in paper riches to view. A prolific writer who wrote over 50 novels, sketches and short stories, he is known to all Slovenes. An important excursion point in Mala Polana on the edge of the Polana grove is the Copek mill. An important point from wartime, when the Liberation Front committee was founded here and remained the only one that was never discovered by the enemy. Today it is the only preserved mill on the Črnec stream. The Polana grove is a refuge for many endangered plant and animal species from the Red List. The path through the forest can be walked along the Forest Study Trail in the Polana grove, designed so that every visitor finds a suitable distance which they are willing to walk. The church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Velika Polana is the only parish church in the Maribor diocese among 290 that is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and it was built in 1924.

Petanjci is a dispersed settlement around 3 km long in the plain with houses mainly along the trunk road Maribor – Radenci – Murska Sobota. In 1972 along the left bank they completed a solid embankment. The bank and floating mills on the Mura were all destroyed during the last war. Only two were restored, and only the bank mill grinds. Near the former manor is the chapel of St Florian, and in the immediate vicinity an abandoned mineral spring, which the manor estate previously exploited.

In Beltinci a castle is said to have stood as early as the Middle Ages (15th or rather 14th cent.). The present mansion has, despite historicist additions, preserved its characteristic Baroque appearance. A curiosity of the castle are the vaulted underground passages. One passage connects the castle with the church, while the other connects it with the castle granary – the grenar with iron entrance doors from 1754. In the restored premises there is a wedding hall; cultural events, meetings and occasional exhibitions take place. The parish church of St Ladislaus in Beltinci is one of the most important monuments of late 19th century architecture in Prekmurje. The building came into being as early as 1742, In the Virgin's chapel is located the family tomb of the Zichy family. The surroundings of the Beltinci church are adorned by a reduced copy of the column of St Theodore in Venice, and beside it there also stands a Venetian well, which is an authentic specimen from the 17th or 18th century. The parish church of St Stephen in Dokležovje The church was built in 1844 and has a dominant position in the cemetery in the middle of the village.
