Kamp Koren Kobarid is a second home for modern-day seekers of genuine experiences. It lies on the left bank of the river Soča, not far from Kobarid, where the emerald Soča emerges from a narrow gorge and, alongside wonderful white gravel banks, slows down and meanders through the Soča valley.

Kobarid – the only Slovenian ECO campsite
Kamp Koren you will find in an exceptionally beautiful location, on wooded terraces directly above the river Soča, over about 4000 square metres stretches one of the loveliest campsites in the Soča Valley. Kamp Koren Kobarid****, accommodates 360 guests in the campsite and 36 guests in eco log cabins, it is the only four-star campsite in this part of the Soča Valley. Kamp Koren has a long tradition of nature-friendly tourism and was the first among Slovenian campsites to receive the title the Eco daisy, the European certificate for environmental tourism.
Campsite operates all year round, and from 1 January to 31 December it is also possible to stay in eco cabins. According to the assessment of the tourist guide Cool Camping Europa Kamp Koren is among the 20 best European destinations for lovers of nature and camping. You will find us as a recommended destination in the largest European ADAC guide, and also in the renowned British camping guide Alan Rogers, where in 2010, because of the exceptional quality of accommodation in our wooden cabins, Kamp Koren was chosen as the European winner of accommodation capacities. Nestled beneath Mount Krn it offers numerous possibilities for activities in the hills, in the sky or in the water, which is why it is popular with hikers and mountaineers, paragliders and hang-gliders, kayakers and rafters, cyclists and anglers. In Kamp Koren a climbing wall with a guide and a belayer is available, and in our little shop ecological products are also on offer. Only 500 m away Kobarid is famous for its First World War museum, the ossuary, the tasty Kobarid štruklji… Otherwise you will receive all information about the local attractions at our reception.

You can stay in the glamorous wooden glamping cabin LILIJA for two people, where you will find a double bed, a shower, a WC and an equipped kitchenette. Its innovative shape allows a functional layout of the interior space.
A special charm is the panoramic glass wall, through which you can watch nature from the bed. The cabin is insulated and heated, built of natural materials, and suitable for renting in all seasons.
The extension of the house is a large wooden terrace.
In the smaller wooden glamping cabin BIVAK (2+1) there is a double bed. An extra bed is on the sofa. The special feature of this cabin is the roof window, through which you can watch the starry sky.
For lovers of nature and comfort there is a new story here. At Kamp Koren we have set up two new family glamping units. The glamping cabins are just the thing for those who wish for greater comfort and at the same time genuine contact with nature. The elegant wooden cabins offer comfortable beds, a private bathroom and a terrace. And true luxury of living is added by the green and blossoming surroundings, which you can also admire from inside through the glass wall.
