Sports camp Gabrje Tolmin is a newly established campsite near Tolmin. It lies in an idyllic location on the left bank of the river Soča below the village of Gabrje, in the past known by the name Johnson.  Camp Gabrje is intended above all for sports enthusiasts, travellers, families and various groups.

Ideal flying conditions attract to the valley paragliders and hang-glider pilots from all over the world. The river Soča with its tributaries is a first-class arena for various adrenaline water sports, such as rafting, kayaking, canyoning, and on it also enjoy themselves anglers.

The valley is surrounded by the mountains of the Julian Alps; the area is interwoven with natural and cultural riches, numerous well-kept cycle routes and walking trails.
