The charmingly landscaped Park Brdo is a treasury of Carniolan aristocratic history. On a walk through it you will be able to admire the rich flora and fauna and many sights, such as Brdo castle with the castle vinotheque, a precious sculpture collection, an apiary with beehive panels by well-known Slovenian painters, thatched hayracks…

You can visit Brdo Park at any time, alone or accompanied by a guide. For a guided tour prior arrangement at the reception of the Kokra hotel is necessary. The price of a guided tour for groups is 2,00 € per person.

You settle the admission for visiting the park with the porter at the park entrance or at the hotel reception (2,50 €). Hotel guests have entry to the park free of charge.

You can also see the park by carriage. When there is enough snow we harness the horses to a sleigh and so create an especially romantic atmosphere.
 

On Sunday afternoons we organise regular 20-minute rides around the park or 45-minute rides around the whole estate. The regular Sunday rides began this year on 18 April.  

Brdo Castle with its appearance and its setting in impeccably maintained park grounds delights numerous visitors today. They can walk along the laid-out park paths, through ancient tree avenues, view the sculpture collection, the apiary, the hippodrome, sit by the two little lakes, enjoy the company of Lipizzaners, fish, ducks and geese, practise golf, or with prior reservation try the top offer of the other facilities (the Jezero lodge, the Zois restaurant, the Brdo congress centre, the Kokra hotel, the Vrelec relaxation centre).
 

Viewing the exterior of Brdo castle and estate is possible by prior arrangement.
