The Castle Bathing Area Bled by Lake Bled is located in an exceptionally lovely position on the northern shore of the lake, below the high castle rock. For several years it has held the environmental label Blue Flag, as recognition for environmental action and the fulfilment of strict requirements for the upkeep of the bathing area and the cleanliness of the water.

Bled Castle Lido is modernly arranged and since 2001 has boasted the Blue Flag, which means that the bathing area is arranged according to all the rules of this organisation; this concerns the upkeep of the bathing area and the suitability of the water for bathing, every month water samples are checked, in recent years the samples have always been suitable.
