We can set off on this route from various places; these are Hodoš, Šalovci, Gornji Petrovci, but we can also start from any place along this route. We begin the route in Hodoš, where we can see the Protestant church, try local wines and rest beside Lake Hodoš, where swans greet us, and perhaps otters as well. In continuing the route we meet for the first time a gravel track, which along the fringes of the forest brings us first to Dolenci and on to Budinci. From Budinci we descend into Markovci and by way of the valley of the Velika Krka into Čepinci. In Markovci we can stop at Žido – Lenarčič's mill, where we can also get a snack. In Čepinci we climb up the Špic Breg and along a forest track descend to Lenarčič's mill at Neradnovci. Along the route through Šulinci, full of short and easy climbs and descents, we climb up into Gornji Petrovci. Here we can see both the Protestant church near the primary school and the Catholic church of the Holy Trinity on the Nedelski breg, where there is also a wonderful viewpoint. In Gornji Petrovci we again cross the railway line. Before us are climbs and descents to Križevci, where on the Tetajni breg we come upon a 700-year-old sweet chestnut which is truly worth seeing. From there the route leads us among orchards and vineyards through Panovci to Kančevce, where a view over the Prekmurje plain opens up to us. The route runs on past the church and the House of Spirituality into Ratkovci, where we can try honey pastries, and on further to the mill at Berkovci. At Ivanjševci a beekeeper receives us with pleasure, shows us round the apiary, displays the products made of wax and offers us mead. From Ivanjševci we set off towards Domanjševci, where the Catholic and the Protestant churches are interesting, the latter having a famous southern entrance portal. Towards Krplivnik we continue the route among fields and forests, amid slight climbing and descending. On the way we may be surprised by roe deer and numerous pheasants. In Krplivnik we can see the ethnographic museum and the ECO house and quench our thirst at the spring of natural Clean water. Across the railway line and on towards Hodoš a modern flyover takes us. We can shorten the route with the link Markovci, Domanjševci across Šalovci (in the Frim forest the Frim well and the habitats of rare plant species have been restored). The route moves in the shade of the forests, across varied hilly country with climbs and descents, and takes us past the Excursion Farm at Šalovci, at which we can rest, take refreshment and look at interesting domestic animals.
