Megušar Farm Stay is located in Stara Loka, one of the oldest villages in Slovenia, since the village is first mentioned as early as 973. Stara Loka lies on the left bank of the Selška Sora and is directly joined to the town of Škofja Loka. Škofja Loka and with it Stara Loka in themselves offer plenty of tourist and sporting attractions, and at the same time, given their position and good transport links, they are also excellent bases for exploring Slovenia.
The Megušar farm too, known locally as Pr’ Prtiž, has a long history of existence and lies at an altitude of 355 m. Besides livestock breeding and arable farming, an important activity of ours is also growing soft fruit in a plantation of American blueberries and raspberries and processing fruit, especially pressing juices - apple juice.
