This is a description of a route (one of many) to the popular excursion point of Janče. The route is gravel and forest, but for that reason completely free of traffic in the sense of motorised traffic. Our starting point is Jevnica, direction Zgornja Jevnica and Golišče. At the first turning (by the Štengar mill) we turn left towards Mala Štanga and Golišče (if we want a shorter route, we can also go right towards Janče). The route climbs the whole time. At the crossroads we keep to the right. Past the village of Tuji Grm we come to Janče with the church of St Nicholas. Janče is a popular excursion point. Not far from the church stands the Na Jančah Mountain Lodge. From the village beautiful views spread out.
